Associate Attorney Matthew McGovern

Matthew McGovern is a personal injury attorney dedicated to representing individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others. His practice focuses exclusively on personal injury litigation, where he takes pride in advocating for injured Floridians and standing up to large corporations and insurance companies on behalf of his clients.

Matt graduated from Florida State University in 2004 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender, where he gained valuable courtroom experience and developed a passion for advocating on behalf of individuals facing difficult circumstances.

Following his work as a public defender, Matt practiced in the area of real estate litigation before transitioning to personal injury law. Since that time, he has devoted his practice to representing injured individuals throughout Florida. His diverse litigation background provides him with a practical perspective on navigating complex legal disputes and pursuing favorable outcomes for his clients.

Matt enjoys the opportunity to work directly with his clients, help them navigate challenging situations, and ensure their voices are heard. He believes that injured individuals deserve dedicated representation, particularly when facing powerful corporate defendants and insurance companies.

Outside of the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, watching soccer and football, and enjoying the outdoors.
