Roxie Courson began her legal career in 1973 working for an insurance defense firm in Daytona Beach. After two years there, she began working as a legal secretary to an attorney who specialized in plaintiff’s personal injury and decided that was her true calling. After nine years at that firm she joined Chanfrau & Chanfrau in 1985 as Bill Chanfrau Sr.’s personal secretary/legal assistant. She was promoted to office manager in 2002 and continues to work directly for Bill Sr. as his personal secretary while also assisting in the organization and maintenance of his cases, assisting with supervising and training of staff personnel, as well as performing various administrative duties.
She prides herself in developing personal and professional relationships with clients and enjoys participating as an active member of various mediation and trial teams for the firm’s cases.
Roxie has been married to her husband for almost 40 years and has two grown children, one of whom now has followed in her footsteps and began her career here and now works as an administrative secretary at a law firm in Georgia. Roxie’s husband is a victim of an automobile crash which rendered him an incomplete quadriplegic. This has helped her develop a special empathy for seriously injured clients.
Colleen Smith was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts before moving to Port Orange, Florida just before high school. She graduated from Spruce Creek High School and then attended Daytona Beach Community College, earning her Associates of Arts degree with a focus on legal studies. She has also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida.
Colleen began her career as a legal assistant working for a local insurance defense firm and gained an immense amount of litigation and trial experience. In January of 2002, she began working for Chanfrau & Chanfrau as a pre-litigation legal assistant, primarily for William M. Chanfrau, Jr. She comes to work every day with the knowledge that she will be able to help someone; this is a truly fulfilling and rewarding career with the Chanfrau & Chanfrau law firm. Chanfrau & Chanfrau has given her the opportunity to grow as a person and offers unconditional support.
In her free time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her children and playing "chauffeur" to the many cheerleading competitions and football games this entails. She also enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to Walt Disney World as well as the beach.
Greg Olsen is the firm’s litigation paralegal and he works for both William M. Chanfrau, Sr. and William M. Chanfrau, Jr. Greg has been with the firm since 2006. Greg grew up in Ormond Beach, FL and attended Mainland High School. Greg also attended Florida State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology in 1993. Greg worked as a private investigator in Atlanta, GA before becoming a legal case manager and then paralegal. Greg has extensive litigation experience involving serious personal injury and wrongful death, auto and trucking accidents, construction liability, premises liability and nursing home negligence. He has been a litigation paralegal for 13 years and has worked for both plaintiff and defense firms in GA, NC and FL. Greg received his paralegal certificate from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA in 1998. Greg lives with his wife and two young children in Ormond Beach. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Greg enjoys weight training, running on the beach and traveling abroad.
Connie Wilson is the administrative assistant for W.M Chanfrau Sr., the legal assistant to William Chanfrau, Jr. and Senior assistant to Greg and Roxie at Chanfrau & Chanfrau Law Firm, P.A. Connie graduated from the University of Missouri in St. Louis with a Bachelors in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She was born and raised in St. Louis and recently moved to Florida over a year ago. Connie enjoys working at Chanfrau & Chanfrau because it allows her to help people when they truly need it.
In her free time, Connie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing wit her Great Dane, Memphis; going to the beach, concerts and traveling to new places.
Stacie Glover is a Receptionist at Chanfrau & Chanfrau Law Firm, P.A. Stacie graduated from Seabreeze High School in 2002 and attended Daytona Beach Community College for two years to study Early Childhood Development. She was born in Riverdale, Georgia before moving to Ormond Beach in 1997.
Stacie enjoys working at Chanfrau & Chanfrau because she loves helping people and making them happy. The Chanfrau’s are wonderful people and they value a family environment.
In her free time, Stacie enjoys spending time with her family. She has two beautiful children and loves being a mom. She also loves going to the beaches, taking vacations and going to Walt Disney World. When she has time for herself she likes to relax and read.

Laura Bezold has been a Daytona Beach resident for 24 years. She was home-schooled throughout high school and then attended Daytona State College. Laura originally began her legal career in 2002 at a local law firm and worked as a pre-trial paralegal for three years, before advancing to a litigation paralegal for an additional two years. She then decided to broaden her knowledge in insurance and became a licensed commercial lines insurance broker. Laura pursued a career as a commercial lines insurance broker for two years until finally returning to the field of law. Laura has been a paralegal now for over 6 years and has held a position in virtually every aspect of the personal injury law firm.
Laura continues to reside in the Daytona Beach area with her fiancé and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exercising, boating, going to the beach, and spending weekends away with her friends and family.
Amanda Brown was born and raised in Ormond Beach. Amanda graduated from Mainland High School in 2006 and is attending Daytona State College where she will be graduating with her A.A.S Degree in Paralegal Studies in the fall of 2010. Amanda is very excited to be working with such a great team and is currently the administrative assistant for W.M Chanfrau Sr., Greg Olsen and Roxie Courson at Chanfrau & Chanfrau Law Firm, P.A. . In her time off, Amanda enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dog Emmie, and playing soccer and tennis.
